Day 1 – Introduction to ECM Titanium ECU Remapping Software

An introduction to the tuning  software, its functions, features as well as its capabilities to meet tuning requirements.

Together with the tutor, you will explore, investigate and interrogate stock ECU data for petrol (Gasoline) engines.

To get the most out of this ECU tuning training course and to be able to fully participate. You will want to have a genuine copy of the Alientech ECM Titanium software. This way you will be able to follow the course and participate hands on in the training program.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• How to interrogate original (OEM) ECU Files and software
• Learn the vital maps to look for when tuning gasoline engines
• Using the ECM Titanium drivers
• Understanding checksum corrections when tuning
• An introduction to safe and reliable modifications on gasoline engines

TEST YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEGDE

The Tutor will guide you through skills test at the end of each day. And provide homework to be completed for the next days training session.

Day 2 – Introduction into Petrol (Gasoline) Engine Tuning

On day two of the Alientech ECM Titanium 3 day classroom tutorial training course the focus will be on petrol engine ECU types. As well as a selection original ECU files and the key elements that are of interest for tuning and remapping.

The class Tutor will take you step by step through the approach to tuning petrol engines. As well as some of the typical strategies used by the manufacturer when producing the software. And therefore the most important maps to consider and the benefits of having this knowledge.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• How to view a petrol and gasoline ECU File in the ECM Titanium editing software
• Available drivers for an ECU
• Important maps to view and change – limiters!
• Map changes to think about based on the performance requirements
• Stage one tuning file creation

TEST YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEGDE

The Tutor will take you through todays test. As well as provide you with homework again to complete before day 3 of the training course.

Day 3 – Advanced Petrol / Gasoline Engine Tuning

On the third day of this training course, you will build on the knowledge of the previous 2 days.  Moving on from the use and understanding of the ECM Titanium software and how to identify and change the maps. And into Stage I and Stage II tuning file creation. As well as tuning and remapping for vehicle modifications and upgrades.

With hands on mapping and tuning, the Tutor will take you through tuning file creation. The files and software you write in this course will remain a key part of your tuning file library and the building blocks of your personal tuning file catalog.

• Stage II tuning
• OPF, O2, injector and turbo upgrades
