Alientech KESS3 combines the tuning modes in remapping tool. OBD, Bench and Boot tuning.
OBD – The OBD mode allows access to the ECU data through the On Board Diagnostic port.
BENCH – A smart new interface direct to ECU connectors gives complete access to the software data
BOOT – This remapping and tuning mode allows access all ECU system data. You can read, write and clone ECU’s in this mode.
Master or Slave Tuning Tool Options
The Alientech Kess 3 is a single remapping and tuning tool in one device. It can be configured as either a master or slave tuning device by adding protocols.
Master: The master format allows you to edit the software files extracted independently yourself. And as such, the read files can be loaded into your choice to tuning and remap editing programs to make these changes.
Slave: If you are not looking to write your own tuning software. The slave device is likely to be the right choice. In this mode you can work with a designated master tuning file provider who will support your remap file requests. VIEZU will be very happy to offer this service and support 7 days a week. And therefore, the team will be on hand to discuss tuning files, training and support for your tuning business.

The CPU
Communication lines
KESS3 automatically detects the right communication channel. This enables it to work faster with only the OBD cable. Ethernet, FlexRay, CAN Bus, K-Line, L-line, J1850, J1708. Therefore, all the major communication lines are required to initiate a remapping process.
The Future of Remapping.
Kess3 is already equipped and capable of GPS, Accelerometer, Bluetooth, and also Wi-Fi. Many exciting new features are in the works and will be available soon.
Fast Performance
Importing and exporting remap software files to and from the KESS3 is up to 10x faster using the new USB hardware. A new web infrastructure has also been added by Alientech, making KESS3 even faster. This results in improved speed and performance with Alientech cloud-based operations.
