Perfect for those with a basic understanding of ECU tuning, this three-day intermediate course is designed to help you confidently apply tuning strategies to both diesel and petrol vehicles using Swiftec software. You’ll build your knowledge of map logic, safe modification strategy, and practical calibration workflow.

Delivered in a blended classroom and dyno format, you’ll work with real ECU files and vehicles, learning from expert calibrators using our 3000bhp Mustang dynamometer.

Day 1 – Intermediate ECU Tuning & Software Functions

• Refresher on ECU types, stages, and file handling
• Deeper dive into Swiftec interface and modules
• Manual map zone understanding and structure overview
• Editing techniques and safe tuning principles

Day 2 – Diesel Tuning Techniques

• Intermediate diesel file creation and logic refinement
• Emissions feature control: EGR, DPF, AdBlue
• Basic Stage 2 adjustments for torque and rail pressure
• Common platform behaviour and file troubleshooting

Day 3 – Petrol Tuning Techniques

• Ignition, AFR and torque management fundamentals
• Using Swiftec for fault and feature delete (EVAP, SAI, DTC)
• Stage 1 and light Stage 2 tuning practices
• Pop & bang, throttle and limiter control
